The eleventh edition, “Il Natale delle Arti” (Christmas of the Arts), runs from 14 November 2026 to 6 January 2027. The full programme and current opening times are on the official Arezzo Città del Natale website, in Italian.
The event takes place at several spots in the old town. Piazza Grande, the main square, has the Villaggio Tirolese (Tyrolean Village), open until 27 December, and the video mapping on the town hall. Brick House Art is in the Palazzo di Fraternita. Natale in Fortezza and Santa’s House, open until 24 December, are in the Fortezza Medicea, the Medici Fortress. Il Prato park has the ice rink, the Bosco delle Emozioni and the Mercatino delle Arti. There are more stalls in Piazza San Jacopo and Piazza Risorgimento.
On 5 and 6 December 2026 the Arezzo Antiques Fair is also in Piazza Grande, as it is on the first Sunday of every month and the Saturday before. That weekend the antiques dealers and the Christmas markets share the old town.
From ASC Hotel to the old town
The hotel is on Via di Castelsecco, inside the Cittadella dello Sport. Piazza Grande is 2 km away, which is 15 minutes on foot, 8 by bike or 6 by car. The railway station is 1.5 km away, 18 minutes on foot.
The old town is a limited traffic zone (page in Italian), so the easiest way in is on foot or by bike. If you’d rather drive closer, our guide on where to park in Arezzo covers the car parks around the centre.
Staying with us during the event
For families there’s the Family Flat, 50 m² with a fitted kitchen for up to 5. The Duplex Comfort Quadruple is 45 m² on two levels and sleeps up to 4. Breakfast is a buffet from 7:30 to 10:00 and you choose whether it’s in your rate.
In the evening the restaurant is open from Tuesday to Sunday. Check-in is from 14:00 to 20:00. If you’ll arrive later than that, for example because you stop at the markets first, let us know: we’ll send you instructions and your key will be at the desk by the entrance.

When is Arezzo Christmas City 2026?
From 14 November 2026 to 6 January 2027. The Tyrolean Village in Piazza Grande closes earlier, on 27 December: until 13 December it opens Thursday to Sunday, and from 17 to 27 December every day.
How much do the attractions cost?
Natale in Fortezza costs €10, Brick House Art €10 and the bus tour €12. At Santa's House the full price is €10 from age 9, and €8 for children aged 4 to 8. At these last two, under-3s go free.
Where can I park for the Christmas markets in Arezzo?
The old town is a limited traffic zone (ZTL). The car parks run by ATAM include the multi-storeys on Viale Mecenate and Via Baldaccio d'Anghiari. Then there are the pay-and-display bays on Via Pietri, linked to Piazza della Libertà by escalators. If you stay with us, the car stays in the hotel car park, which is included in the price.

2 km: 15 minutes on foot, 8 by bike, 6 by car. The railway station is 1.5 km away, 18 minutes on foot.
How much does it cost to stay with you during the event?
Rates go up during the event and on the busiest nights reach €180–255. Cancellation terms for this period differ from the rest of the year and are shown when you book.
