Why parking matters
The old town of Arezzo is a limited traffic zone (page in Italian), so the car stays outside. The Baldaccio and Mecenate multi-storey car parks cost €3 for the whole day. Via Guido Tarlati is free, but it is a 12–14 minute walk from the centre. Opening hours and prices are in our guide on where to park in Arezzo.
ASC Hotel is a hotel with a private car park, included in the price for the whole stay, and the car stays there. We are not in the old town: Piazza Grande is 2 km away, 15 minutes on foot, 8 by bike, 6 by car.
Why not Saturday
If you are looking for where to stay for the Arezzo Christmas markets, the night you pick matters. From 14 November to 13 December the Villaggio Tirolese (Tyrolean Village) in Piazza Grande, the main square, is open Thursday to Sunday, 10:00–21:00.
On Thursday and Friday evenings you can walk around at your own pace. On Sunday evening the town empties out. Saturday is usually the busiest day and the most expensive, so we suggest the other nights.
What the hotel has
The rooms range from 22 to 50 m². There is a gym for guests and an electric-car charging point in the car park.
The restaurant serves dinner from Tuesday to Sunday, 19:30–22:00, so it is open on Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Breakfast is a buffet from 7:30 to 10:00, and you choose when you book whether it is in your rate or not.
Event dates and opening times
Arezzo Christmas City (Arezzo Città del Natale) runs from 14 November 2026 to 6 January 2027. The Tyrolean Village in Piazza Grande stays open until 27 December: until 13 December Thursday to Sunday, and from 17 to 27 December every day, always 10:00–21:00.
