ASC Hotel belongs to Arezzo Sport College S.r.l. I'm Michele Passalacqua, one of the owners: I've worked here since November 2015 and have been managing director since 2019.
I’m Michele Passalacqua, one of the owners and the managing director of Arezzo Sport College S.r.l., the company behind ASC Hotel. I joined in November 2015 as general manager, and I’ve been managing director since October 2019. I live in Arezzo.
The hotel
ASC Hotel is a three-star hotel with 28 rooms at Via di Castelsecco 8/H. It’s inside Arezzo’s sports park, the Cittadella dello Sport, next to the Stadio Città di Arezzo (page in Italian). Three of our six room types are 45 m² split-level duplexes. In summer there’s a 25 × 12 m outdoor pool. If you’re coming to train or play, start with the page for athletes and teams; we also host families and business travellers.
We’re not in the old town, and I’d rather say so up front. Piazza Grande is a 15-minute walk, 8 minutes by bike; other distances are on our location page. Parking, on the other hand, is included.
On 12 and 13 September 2026 we held Passa l’Acqua in our pool, a 24-hour charity swimming relay that closed the pool’s 2026 season. I wrote about how it went in the article on Passa l’Acqua 2026.
Outside the hotel
I’m president of the hoteliers’ association of Confcommercio Firenze-Arezzo, the Florence and Arezzo branch of Italy’s federation of retail, tourism and service businesses. With Confcommercio Arezzo I teach AI literacy courses for people who work in hotels. In 2026 I taught AI for tourism as an associate lecturer at Connessioni.
On 13 October 2026 I’m speaking on the “Agentic Hotel” panel at Hospitality Day in Rimini. On 6 November I’ll be at the first Artificial Intelligence Forum of Fondazione Arezzo Innovazione, here in Arezzo.
