When you message or call ASC Hotel, the first reply may come from TryEcco, an automatic assistant for WhatsApp and voice calls. We use it here in Arezzo, and after trying many similar services it is the one that convinced us most.
What TryEcco does
TryEcco answers on two channels: WhatsApp messages and phone calls. It is linked to Krossbooking, the hotel’s booking system, and reads the data from there to write to guests, for example with the messages that arrive before your stay. It cannot be given an outside list of recipients: it always starts from real reservations.
To message or call the hotel you can use the usual numbers, listed on the contact page.
Why we chose it
At first glance TryEcco looks like one of many automatic responders. We chose it for three reasons:
- it is efficient and adapts to the needs of a property like ours;
- it improves every day, and sometimes at night too;
- behind it is a small, fast-growing start-up made of two people who bring effort and care.
Michele Passalacqua, who runs the hotel, says that beyond the software, those two people are what makes the difference.
What changes for reception
Repetitive and administrative replies go to the assistant. The receptionists at ASC have become experience managers: they have more time for the people who arrive, to suggest a running route or a place to eat, and less for questions that always get the same answer. When you need a person, there is a person.
